Lit Fuse Studios is the open ground between a community with a story and a venue that can hold it. Phones become capture rigs. Classrooms become planetariums. Mercados, juke joints, and youth centers become rooms anyone can step into. Same signal, different surface.
We make the rooms ready. We make the tools that ship a story from a phone in your hand to a sixty-foot dome — without losing what made it true. Civic-rooted, open-source, audio-first, venue-aware.
Apache 2.0 library, public ComfyUI nodes, Blender rig, full provenance schema. The pipeline is the product. Nothing locked in a vault.
Same content sources, surfaced for the room they land in: fulldome, CAVE, urban projection, cylinder panorama, amphitheater, intimate club. Venue-aware affordances built in.
HRTF binaural is the preview. Production ships object-based ADM BW64 plus Ambisonic AmbiX/FuMa, per-speaker per-venue. Stereo doesn't survive a sixty-foot ceiling. Object-based does.
Each door opens onto a different practice. Education brings stories into rooms a community already trusts. Immersive ships them to the heaviest pro venues. Surface Forge is the open library that does the work underneath.
One story moves through the pipeline. Capture · forge · ship · land. Same signal, different surface, the whole way down.
Original captures, real places, real people. Every environment carries the consent and provenance schema baked into Surface Forge. Each one a document — not a simulation.
Pawtucket is the hub. Each mark is a deployment, a partner, a room being held. Arcs show stories already moving between them. The signal is bidirectional.
The spatial web is being built right now — mostly without us.
Apple, Meta, and Google scan every street and every room to build their version of spatial reality. Communities are the backdrop. Their neighborhoods become someone else's infrastructure.
Lit Fuse Studios is a counter-claim. A 360° capture made by or with a community is not a scan — it's a document. It carries the evidentiary weight of a photograph. It says: this was real, these people stood here, this is what it looked like from the inside.
Where neighborhoods get redeveloped, displaced, or erased — these spaces remain. Open. Forkable. Carried live.
The library is open. The studio that wraps it — authoring, multi-user collaboration, ship-direct-to-venue — comes in three sizes. Not built yet. Tell us which one fits and we'll bring you in early.
